The
company
had
originally
hoped
to
install
the
two
turbines
later
this
year,
but
this
was
dependent
on
a
suitable
installation
vessel
becoming
available.
Industry
sources
say
that
the
delay
will
do
little
to
affect
Siemens’
current
lead
in
the
race
to
get
its
machine
to
market
in
time
to
win
contracts
for
the
massive
UK
Round
3
projects.
The
news
comes
as
it
emerged
that
Siemens
will
put
back
until
2013
the
final
sign-off
for
its
wind
turbine
factory
at
Hull,
eastern
England.
