The
new
factory
in
the
port
of
Suape,
near
Recife,
will
deliver
blades
to
wind
farms
throughout
South
America,
the
two
companies
say.
The
plant
is
expected
to
start
production
in
September
2013
and
already
has
deals
in
place
with
customers,
says
LM
Wind.
“In
addition
to
the
agreements
already
signed,
LM
Wind
Power
is
currently
in
advanced
negotiations
with
a
number
of
wind
turbine
manufacturers
who
have
expressed
a
need
for
larger
blades
between
40
and
70
metres
in
length
for
future
wind
power
auctions,”
the
Danish
group
adds.
