Alstom
has
signed
a
letter
of
intent
with
developer
Casa
dos
Ventos
for
68
of
its
ECO
122
2.7MW
turbines,
plus
operations
and
maintenance
services,
for
wind
farms
in
João
Câmara.
The
French
supplier
expects
to
sign
a
final
contract
for
the
€230m
($302m)
deal
by
the
end
of
this
month.
The
Casa
dos
Ventos
deal
is
Alstom’s
fourth
in
Brazil.
The
wind
turbines
will
be
produced
at
Alstom
Renewable
Power’s
manufacturing
unit
at
Camaçari,
Bahia
state.
A
second
shift
will
start
work
at
the
plant
during
early
2013,
