Suzlon bags 84MW order from India's Continuum Wind

Indian turbine group Suzlon has won an 84MW order from independent power producer Continuum Wind Energy.

The deal will see Suzlon supply and commission 40 of its S95 2.1 MW machines at a Continuum project in India this year and in 2013, when it is due to be completed. No further details of the wind farm were given.

Continuum chief executive Arvind Bansal says: “This project is a part of our plan to be a leading IPP with a focus on the development of efficient wind farms.”
