AW116/3000
turbines
to
the
project.
The
deal
also
includes
an
operation
and
maintenance
contract
for
15
years.
The
wind
farm
is
located
in
the
Hermanville
and
Clear
Springs
area
of
Prince
Edward
Island
province,
and
is
expected
to
be
operational
by
the
end
of
2013.

the
deal
marks
the
first
Canadian
installation
of
the
AW3000
turbine.
Acciona
Windpower
currently
has
1.5MW
and
3MW
wind
turbine
models.
