Skanska and Jämtkraft link to buy 80MW Swedish wind farm

Infrastructure group Skanska and power producer Jämtkraft have teamed up to buy an up-to-80MW wind project in Sweden.

The Swedish companies will each have a 50% stake in the Mullberg Wind Park at Rätan in the north of the country, which will require a total investment of SKr1.2bn ($180m) and was previously being developed by Eolus Vind.

The partners say they have started a turbine procurement process for the project, which has a permit for up to 31 machines on two ridges at altitudes of up to 600 metres above sea level.

A jointly-owned company called Jemtska will build and grid-connect the wind farm. The construction element of the deal is Log in to read complete article.
