The
BNDESPar
injection
is
to
help
fund
the
25-30%
equity
needed
to
build
the
wind
farms,
for
which
Renova
won
tenders
in
2010
and
2011.
Construction
is
expected
to
begin
next
month,
with
full
operations
starting
in
September
2013
and
March
2014.
Renova
expects
to
invest
R$2.9bn
in
wind
power
by
the
end
of
2016.
It
has
1.1GW
of
projects
contracted.
The
developer
will
issue
nearly
25
million
common
shares
and
8.7
million
preferred
shares,
representing
14.7%
of
the
shares
in
the
company
after
the
capital
