Lanka
–
are
part
of
a
plan
to
install
400MW
of
wind
capacity
by
2020,
says
a
ministry
spokesman.
The
plants,
in
Puttalam
district
in
northwestern
Kaplitiya,
cost
a
total
of
7.2bn
rupees
($54.6m)
to
develop,
the
spokesman
adds.
They
will
sell
their
power
to
the
state-run
Sri
Lanka
Central
Electricity
Board.
