6.15MW,
giving
Thornton
Bank

a
nameplate
capacity
of
185MW
–
adding
to
the
30MW
in
place
at
Thornton
Bank
1
since
2009.
The
final
turbine
was
installed
yesterday,
and
the
first
machines
are
already
in
the
process
of
being
energised.

Bank
developer
C-Power
opted
for
a
lean
contracting
model,
in
which
Suzlon-owned
REpower
was
tasked
with
supplying
and
installing
the
turbines,
ABB
was
in
charge
of
the
electrical
kit,
and
Belgian
offshore
specialist
DEME
handled
everything
