GME
was
awarded
the
business
by
Transmission
Capital
Partners
(TCP),
which
owns
and
operates
the
link
to
the
Vattenfall-owned
wind
farm
off
the
northwest
coast
of
England.
The
two
have
signed
a
framework
agreement
for
repairs,
surveys
and
re-burials.
GME
will
provide
a
round-the-clock
call
out
facility
for
fault
location
and
becomes
the
preferred
cable-repair
contractor.
As
part
of
the
agreement,
GME
will
also
create
and
manage
a
site-specific
cable
system
database,
allowing
appropriate
parties
to
easily
view
and
analyse
data
relevant
to
transmission-link
maintenance
over
the
life
of
the
system.
