Sowitec’s
Chilean
subsidiary
says
the
transmission
service
agreement
allowing
development
of
the
110kV
link
means
it
can
proceed
to
the
construction
phase
at
Valle
de
Los
Vientos
within
the
next
few
months.
The
45-turbine
wind
farm
will
be
among
the
country's
largest
yet
built.
It
is
due
to
begin
operations
in
mid-2013
on
desert
land
owned
by
the
Chilean
state
near
the
city
of
Calama,
in
the
north
of
the
country.
Sowitec
has
signed
a
25-year
lease
with
Chile’s
government
for
the
wind
farm
and
transmission
line
sites
–
the
first
such
arrangement…
