Gamesa sells Krzecin wind farm in Poland to RWE subsidiary

Spanish turbine manufacturer and developer Gamesa has sold a wind farm in Poland to RWE Renewables Polska, the local subsidiary of German-owned renewables giant RWE Innogy.

The 14MW Krzecin wind farm is located in the Western Pomerania region of northeast Poland. The project was developed and built by Gamesa, and comprises seven G90-2.0 MW turbines.

This is the second agreement reached between the two companies, following Gamesa’s sale of a 32MW wind farm in Poland to RWE Innogy 18 months ago.

Gamesa has sold several wind developments in Poland over recent months. It had a pipeline of 800MW of projects there at the end of the first quarter.
