53-year-old

considerable
experience
in
the

sector,

has
most
recently
worked
as
a
consultant
implementing
major
cost-reduction
projects.
Lechêne
has
been
a
general
director
at
a
division
of
Michelin,
and
has
held
several
senior
posts
at
cement
giant
Lafarge.
His
appointment
marks
another
step
in
the
rebuilding
of
the
senior
management
team
at
Vestas
following
the
departure
of
a
number
of

figures
earlier
this
