has
departed
from

“by
mutual
agreement”
leaving
Jens
Tommerup,
currently
president
of
Vestas
China,
in

pan-regional
sales
operation.
Vestas
says

restructuring
at

company
designed
to
"reduce
fixed
costs,
improve
profitability
and
increase
customer
focus”.

new
sales
business
will
align
the
company’s
efforts
in
a
region
where
the
Chinese
and
Asian
markets
are
already
closely
interlinked,
it
adds.
Tommerup
joined
Vestas
in
2009
after
spending
most
of
his
career
at
Danish
industrial
group
Hempel.
