Gamesa seals 44MW Nicaragua Globeleq wind deal

Gamesa has signed a deal to supply a 44MW wind farm in Nicaragua owned by Globeleq Mesoamerica Energy.

The Spanish company will deliver and install 22 of its G90-2MW wind turbines for Eolo de Nicaragua, located in Rivas, and provide maintenance services for a period of 10 years. Nicaragua currently has one 63MW wind farm in operation.

Gamesa has already received orders for 236MW in Latin America this year.
