who
oppose
it.

study
–
commissioned
by
industry
group
RenewableUK
–
also
reports
that
57%
of
respondents
find
the
impact
of
wind
farms
on
the
landscape
to
be
acceptable.
Less
than
one-fifth
deemed
it
unacceptable.
Visual
impact
of
turbines
is
one
of
the
drawbacks
most
often
cited
by
the
UK’s
vocal
anti-wind
lobby,
which
enjoys
backing
from
sections
of
the
country’s
media
and
has
proved
adept
at
making
itself
