After
an
application
by
GE,
the
US
Court
of
Appeals
reversed
an
earlier
ruling
by
the
International
Trade
Commission
(ITC)
that
Mitsubishi
had
not
infringed
one
of
the
patents
at
issue.
However,
the
court
upheld
a
similar
finding
by
the
ITC
relating
to
a
second
patent.
The
legal
battle
between
GE
and
Japan’s
MHI
has
rumbled
on
since
2008
and
relates
to
technology
used
in
the
latter’s
2.4MW
turbines.
