Blood on the carpet as Vestas restructures

The organisational changes at Vestas have caused several high-profile casualties.



These include offshore head Anders-Søe Jensen; technology research and development (R&D) head Finn Strøm Madsen; control systems head Bjarne Ravn Sørensen; and head of communications Peter Kruse.

The changes are meant to lead to a significant streamlining of the management structure, with the number of executive managers being reduced from 14 to six.

Technology R&D will be broken up, with parts of it going to the new Global Solutions and Services division — tasked with increasing revenues from outside the core area of turbine sales — and a new Turbines division Log in to read complete article.
