address,
Governor
Andrew
Cuomo
says
his
administration
will
request
proposals
to
create
an
“energy
highway”
system
of
high-voltage
lines
to
transport
wind
power
from
northern
New
York
and
the
neighbouring
Canadian
province
of
Quebec.
The
Y-shaped
energy
grid
would
be
financed
and
built
by
the
private
sector,
with
a
branch
linking
western
New
York,
which
has
abundant
large-scale
hydropower
along
the
Niagara
