Daewoo
Shipbuilding
and
Marine
Engineering
(DSME)
was
linked
with
Bard
last
month
when
a
spokesman
for
the
Korean
company
said
the
two
were
in
early-stage
talks.
However,
Byung
Taek
Jeon,
senior
manager
at
DSME’s
wind
business,
says
Bard
–
which
was
put
up
for
sale
in
August
–
is
not
on
its
agenda.
“We
have
no
plans
to
invest
in
them.
It’s
not
effective
for
us,”
he
says.
The
company
is
seeking
instead
to
develop
its
own
products
for
the
offshore
market
and
aims
to
unveil
its
3MW
