Nearly

these
companies
have
said
they
plan
to
set
up
manufacturing
facilities
in
the
UK
and/or
elsewhere
around
the
North
Sea.

actually
needed?

we
take
the
forecasts
produced
by
the
European
Wind
Energy
Association
(EWEA),
cumulative
installed
capacity
should
reach
40GW
in
2020
and
150GW
in
2030,
from
just
under
4GW
at
present.
The
EWEA
points
out
that
its
estimates
are
more
conservative
than
EU
member
states’
national
