purchase
agreement

with
Google
Energy,
a
unit
of
the
internet
search
giant
based
in
California.
Financial
terms
were
not
released.
Google
does
not
disclose
power
requirements
at
its
data
centers.
The
deal
was
unusual
as
Google
secured
green
supply
directly
from
an
independent
power
producer
in
the
wholesale
electricity
market,
bypassing
the
state’s
two
dominant
electric
utilities.
