Vestas to supply 129MW to Sweden's biggest wind project

Turbine manufacturer Vestas has received an order to supply 129MW of capacity to Sweden’s biggest wind farm.

The order, from Swedish developer Arise Windpower and private equity fund Platina Partners, is for 43 of Vestas’ V112 3MW turbines for their Jädraås project.

The contract includes a 15-year service agreement, with commissioning due to be completed in November 2012.

The €336m ($448m) Jädraås project will be Sweden’s largest wind farm when it is completed, with a total of 200MW to be built in two phases.
