The
German
turbine
maker
says
it
is
ramping
up
capacity
from
600MW
to
900MW
in
Bremerhaven,
where
it
manufactures
nacelles
and
hubs
primarily
for
its
5MW
and
6MW
offshore
turbines.
It
is
also
converting
its
assembly
hall
in
Brandenburg
to
enable
production
of
its
increasingly
popular
3.XM
series
of
onshore
machines,
while
shifting
assembly
of
its
older
2MW
MM-type
model
to
sites
at
Husum
in
Germany,
Portugal,
and
Padubidri,
India.
The
first
3.XM
nacelles
and
hubs
will
be
produced
in
Brandenburg
by
the
end
of
the
year,
while
the
upgrade
in
Bremerhaven
