The
deal
represents
something

a
windfall
for
Dong,
which
in
July
2009
bought
the
whole
of
A2SEA
for
DKr700m
from
its
three
previous
principal
shareholders:
Clipper
Project
Shipping;
and
Danish
investment
groups
Dansk
Kapitalanlaeg
and
LD
Invest
Equity.
Siemens
will
shell
out
the
money
in
two
installments
during
2010
and
2011.
Dong
says
the
investment
will
allow
A2SEA
--
which
boasts
200
employees
and
is
headquartered
in
Fredericia,
Denmark
--
to
explore
the
possibility
of
expanding
its
installation
capacity
and
further
optimising
its
existing
fleet
of
vessels.
