Broadwind
says
the
order
from
an
unidentified
US
wind
turbine
manufacturer
is
for
towers
to
be
delivered
in
2013.
It
will
make
the
structures
at
its
Wisconsin
and
Texas
plants.
Broadwind’s
chief
executive
Peter
Duprey
says:
"It
is
nice
to
see
orders
begin
to
flow
as
a
result
of
the
extension
of
the
PTC.
“With
the
PTC
renewal
modified
to
include
projects
that
commence
construction
by
the
end
of
the
year,
we
expect
better
order
visibility.
We
continue
to
be
optimistic
about
the
tower
business."
