letter
to
the
Bureau
of
Ocean
Energy
Management
(BOEM),
which
has
responsibility
over
this
area,
McCrory
says
that
offshore
wind
will
bring
a
“much-needed”
infusion
of
energy,
jobs
and
investment
to
the
state.
“I
believe
in
an
‘all-of-the-above’
energy
plan
that
includes
wind
is
vital
to
a
prosperous
energy
future
in
North
Carolina,”
he
says
in
the
letter.
Commercial
offshore
wind
farms
could
“stimulate
factory
development
in
the
state
to
provide
the
necessary
equipment
and
bring
jobs
to
that
sector.”
He
notes
that
the
state
already
has
as
many
as
