Gamesa will install 25 of its G87 2MW turbines at the Orosiwind farm in the country’s Guanacaste region under a turnkey deal with developerGlobeleq Mesoamerica Energy.
The plant is expected to be completed latethis year or early next, with finance coming from lenders including the US Ex-Im Bank and the Dutch Development Bank.
Work at the project will include substationinstallation and grid connection.
