Fepam, as the state environmental agency iscalled, gave the go-ahead this month for the 24MW Chuí I, the 22MW Chuí II, the22MW Chuí IV and the 30MW Chuí V wind farms that make up the complex.

The other two wind farms of the complex, 22MWMinuano I (now Chuí VI) and 24MW Minuano II (now Chuí VII) had already obtainedthe final license from federal environmental agency Ibama in recent months.
