The projects listed for this year's auctions include 200MWin Rio Grande do Sul state, 350MW in Bahia state and 200MW in Piauí state, says Henrique Theodorovicz, Atlantic's engineering and new projects manager.

TheBrazilian government plans to hold an A-3 auction in June, an A-5 auction in September, and it may hold a third reserve auction just for renewable power.

Theodorovicz also confirmed the conclusion and final environmentallicensing of the Eurus II and Renascenca V wind farms, rated at 30MW each, in thenortheastern state of Rio Grande do Norte -- the first projects to be concluded by the company.
