According to data from Brazil's Power Trading Chamber, CCEE, total average power produced by wind farms fell to 734MW in February from 763MW in January. The total installed capacity of wind farms connected to the grid rose to 2.25GW from 2. 21GW.
The capacity factor of wind farms peaks at more than 40% from August to November every year. In 2013, capacity factors peaked at 47% in October, when installed capacity in commercial activity totalled 2.12GW.
