Alstom, which described the deal as its "most important" in onshore wind, will supply, operate and maintain about 440 turbines under a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed today.
The machines will be in the 2.7MW to 3MW range and will equip Renova’s wind farms in the state of Bahia. They will be delivered from 2015 onwards, over an estimated three to four years.
