Earlier today Vestas unveiled a 299MW order from clients EDF EN and Enbridge, which will use the turbines for the BlackspringRidge project near Lethbridge, the largest city in southern Alberta.
It is the company’s largest ever order in the country. The deal is a “nice boost for us right now” and a “validation of where we’re going in Canada”, Brown tells Recharge.
