NextEra will take 58 of GE’s turbines and use them for a project in the eastern “thumb” region of Michigan.
Among other features, the turbines will boast a hub height of 80-metres, while pushing beyond the electrical system used in the 1.6-100 machine to allow for even higher energy yields.
