TheFrench power equipment giant has joined Argentina’s Impsa and Spain’s Gamesa inreaching the latest set of local-content requirements, which BNDES unveiled atthe end of last year.

Complianceis necessary if developers using the turbines are to gain access to thecheapest finance terms from BNDES.

“Thechallenge was to enframe our most modern turbine models into the local-contentrules,” Roberto Miranda, Alstom's global power sales director, tells Recharge,referring to its ECO 110 and ECO 122 machines.
