Copel director of new energies Henrique Ternes said the projects that will take part in the 23 August tender are being advanced in partnership with local developers, under a scheme in which Copel has a 49.9% stake in the consortiums.
About 400MW is located in Bahia and 200MW in Rio Grande do Norte – both states in the northeast of Brazil.
