The 267MW project was formerly known as Lower Snake River Phase II, and is adjacent to the 343MW Lower Snake River Phase I plant that was completed in 2012, and also features Siemens turbines.
The order includes the delivery and installation of the 116 2.3MW wind turbines as well as a five-year service and maintenance agreement. Installation of the wind turbines is scheduled to begin in 2014, while its completion is scheduled for 2015.
