Theannouncement comes less than a week after Vestas confirmed plans to supply400MW of wind turbines to projects being developed by EDPR in the US, as partof a wider 1.5GW framework agreement from 2010.
The RisingTree wind farm – initially slated for completion last year – will be built on amixture of public and private land in California’s Kern County, near the desertcity of Mojave.
