Tokyo-based Eurus will buy 43.5% of the wind farm, leaving France’s Akuo Energy, which itself bought the whole project from original developer Sowitec, with the remainder.
Vestas is supplying 14 of its 3MW turbines for the wind farm in Minas, Lavalleja department.
Construction started last March and operating company Generacion Eolica Minas is scheduled to start running the plant from January.
