The Alberta Utilities Commission will allow NaturEner to utilize 70 of the turbines for the project in southwestern Alberta.
NaturEner Energy Canada, a unit of Madrid-based Grupo NaturEner, says it is working with an investment bank to raise capital to enable construction of the project in early 2014 and also the proposed 190MW Wild Rose 2. It hopes to complete financing for both this quarter.
