Broadwindsaid it will make the towers at its plants in Manitowoc,Wisconsin, and Abilene, Texas.
The supplier has nowbooked $306m of new tower orders in 2013 and said the latest deal “brings us withinreach of filling our planned 2014 tower capacity”.
Broadwindhas been one of the beneficiaries of the rebounding US wind equipment market followingrenewal of the federal PTC incentive.
The companysaid it is currently working with customers in an effort to begin achievingvisibility into 2015.
