The 3MWAcciona machines are the first to be put into service by the Spanishmanufacturer in Brazil, where it recently opened a nacelle assembly plantin Bahia.

According to official data fromBrazilian energy regulatory agency Aneel, the project's completion is due tothe end of this year – although the country's watch-dog labels the complex’sconstruction as “delayed”.

The Atlântica complex will comprise four wind farms of 30MW each.
