EDF EN’s “protocol agreement” with the First Nation coversthe Wartenbe, Sundance and Taylor wind projects, sprawling across the Peace River Region in remote northeastern British Columbia.

The Wartenbe project was approved bythe province’s environmental assessment process since 2006. Meanwhile, the 250MW Sundance and 250MW-400MW Taylor projects,located 150km apart, are both currentlyundergoing environmental assessments, and could be producing power as early as2016, according to EDF EN.
