Under the deal with the Spanish wind group, APUC will takefull ownership at the 200MW Minonk, 150MW Senate and 50MW Sandy Ridge wind farmslocated in Illinois, Texas, and Pennsylvania respectively.

Ontario, Canada-based APUC boughtcontrolling 60% stakes in the plants when they entered service in late 2012.

Gamesa, whichdeveloped the projects and supplied its 2MW turbines, will continue to provide O&M servicesunder 20-year deals.

APUC said: “Substantially all of the energy fromthe projects is sold under fixed-price power sales contracts, including longterm hedge agreements with a remaining weighted average life of 11 years.”
