In Brazil, where Gamesa has notched orders of more than 1GW in the past two years, the Spanish wind-turbine maker will supply, install and maintain 64 of its G97-2.0MW machines across five wind farms in Rio Grande do Norte state.
The wind farms included in Gamesa's announcement are:
- 20MW Santana I
- 30MW Santana II
- 30MW Santana III
- 28MW Lanchinha
- 20MW Pelado
Gamesa will also handle foundation civil works, and the deal includes a 10-year O&M contract at the Brazilian projects, the company says.
