Innergex and the Saik-uz First Nation will begin workingtogether to take the 210MW Nulki Hills project, in central British Columbia, through the western province’s environmental assessment process.

Innergex will then seek a power-purchase agreement from BC Hydro, and claims Nulki Hills could be delivering power to the grid by 2018.

Last year Innergex came close to buying the development-stageWildmare wind project from Finavera in British Columbia, but the deal fellthrough.

Innergex owns more than 600MW of renewables capacity acrossCanada, much of it hydro, although the developer continues to swell its windportfolio – and it also owns a PV array in Ontario.
