US Bancorp and Zions Bank have nailed down a tax-equity syndication agreement that will provide financing for the 71MW Red Horse 2 solar/wind hybrid project near Tucson, Arizona, owned by an affiliate of global investment firm DE Shaw.
The Uruguayan government will invest $1.74bn to contract renewable power through long-term PPAs – including from wind, solar and biomass – by the end of 2019, as part of $4.23bn plan to expand the country's generation and transmission capacities.
