The order is the biggest yet for Gamesa’s G114-2.5 MW turbine, which accounts for 94 of the 96 machines to be deployed at the site.
Gamesa will also provide O&M for five years at Kilgallioch under the terms of the contract, which was signed with Iberdrola’s UK subsidiary ScottishPower Renewables.
Turbine delivery is due to begin in February 2016 with the wind farm due for completion in the first quarter of 2017.
