“That was not something that was put out there on the table,” says Dan Genest, a Dominion spokesman. “We will continue with the Alstom turbines, 6MW design. They are the ones we are still looking at.”
Last Friday, Dominion convened about 60 offshore wind experts and representatives from American and European companies including Alstom at its corporate headquarters in Richmond for initial discussion of cost-reduction ideas.
