The 3.4MW machine – available from 2018 – features 68-metre blades operating at hub-heights of 110- and 130-metres, along with a new pitch-control system to reduce turbine load.
The 3.4M140 offers yield improvements of up to 20% over the 3.0M122, according to Senvion, and an extended 25-year service life.
